The Great Sage's Broken Shell boss fight won't be triggered immediately upon reaching the Keeper's Shrine. Players will first have to beat Stone Monkey, who is a formidable foe as well. The fight with the Stone Monkey becomes tougher when he creates a clone. Dealing with those two can become a problem, but the Gold Suozi Armor and
Jingubang Staff should get players over the line. After beating the Stone Monkey, a cutscene will trigger, revealing the Great Sage's Broken Shell.
Players will have their health, mana, and everything else restored after the Stone Monkey fight.
How To Beat The Great Sage's Broken Shell In Black Myth: Wukong
The Great Sage's Broken Shell has two phases. So, the approach to each one will have to be different.
The Great Sage's Broken Shell Phase 1

The first phase of the boss fight is simple. Make sure to hit the Great Sage's Broken Shell hard and take him down without using any spells or losing too much health. Players will have access to all of their powers, so the first phase should be over quickly.
The Great Sage's Broken Shell Phase 2
- The boss can use spells similar to the Destined One
- Regains all five relics
This is where things get tricky. Players will lose access to all five of their relics, which will severely affect their abilities. So, be prepared for a long fight.
The Great Sage's Broken Shell can use all the powers that the Destined One can. He can use Immobilize,
Ring of Fire,
A Pluck of Many, and
Rock Solid as well. Immobilize and A Pluck of Many in particular are dangerous spells and can end the fight quickly.

Aside from the spells, The Great Sage's Broken Shell's physical attacks also pack a solid punch. If players are out of range, he will throw his weapon at them. Other times, he will throw his weapon into the ground and climb on top of it to unleash a devastating attack.

The Great Sage's Broken Shell can freely use the Somersault Cloud to catch players off-guard.
The Great Sage's Broken Shell's perfect dodges can also explode and damage the Destined One.
While dodging is paramount in the fight, players will also have to ensure that they are dealing enough damage. So, use spells to counter the enemy to a certain extent and deal damage to him.

Additionally, players should equip the Plantain Fan and use it at the beginning of the fight to trap the Great Sage's Broken Shell and land several hits without having to worry about a counterattack. When the Qi is charged, use it again to your advantage and use the Vessel again. This should give you enough time to beat the Great Sage's Broken Shell.
